Lynn Tetrault
Founder
Lynn was the EVP of HR and Corporate Affairs for AstraZeneca PLC for seven years, where she helped drive the transformation of the company’s leadership, culture and reputation, while also supporting significant acquisition activity and restructuring of the company’s operations around the globe. Lynn was the first woman to serve on the company’s senior executive team. Prior to serving on the senior executive team, Lynn served in a variety of roles in AstraZeneca in the US Business and Research and Development from 1993 to 2007. She began her career as a lawyer in private healthcare practice in Boston.
Currently, Lynn serves as a Non-executive Director on the Board of NeoGenomics Clinical Laboratories. Lynn is also the founder and principal of Anahata Leadership, an advisory firm focused on supporting the leadership effectiveness and development of female C-suite executives. Lynn is also a Steering Committee member of Paradigm for Parity, a coalition of senior business leaders focused on closing the gender parity in the corporate world by 2030.
Lynn is a graduate of Princeton University and received her law degree from the University of Virginia. She is a resident of Vero Beach, FL and Nantucket, MA where she lives with her husband and twin sons. Her professional passions include healthcare, leadership and the advancement of women, and her personal passions include spending time with her family, golf, tennis, skiing and yoga.

Alaina Love
Alaina and her co-author, Marc Cugnon, have spent the last 18 years conducting research and creating programs to support leadership and team development, with a specific focus on employee purpose, passion and well-being. Their work has shown that individual fulfillment and inspirational leadership are the keys to creating the level of employee engagement that produces outstanding business results and a culture of thriving. Their processes are an integral part of talent management in their client organizations.
With a research team from University of Michigan, Purpose Linked Consulting developed the Passion Profiler™ online tool that identifies and measures passions and reveals how they are used in the work environment. Today, Purpose Linked Consulting clients include Fortune 500 firms, government and military organizations (such as NASA, the Department of Defense, the US Army and the EPA) as well as independent companies, hospitals, universities, and private coaching clients.
Prior to founding Purpose Linked Consulting, Alaina enjoyed a successful twelve-year career with Merck & Co., Inc., a multinational pharmaceutical firm. As Executive Director of Human Resources, she was responsible for worldwide HR services for the sales and marketing division of the company, supporting over 15,000 employees around the globe in a division that generated $12.3 billion in annual sales. Earlier in her career, Alaina was a research scientist for Merck in the field of immunology, where she worked to develop products for the treatment of diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus. She was also a clinical researcher, with responsibility for monitoring international clinical trials for the anti-ulcer treatment known as Pepcid®.
Alaina is a graduate of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business Change Leadership Program. She has completed advanced Human Resource studies at Rutgers University and medical studies at Tufts University School of Medicine. She also holds an undergraduate degree in medical technology from Monmouth University and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
Alaina has served as a leadership columnist for Bloomberg Business Week, The Washington Post and Harvard Business Review online. She currently writes a popular monthly blog for SmartBrief on Leadership, which was recognized as one of the top 15 most widely read blogs in 2016. Alaina’s upcoming book, Passionality, explores the art and science of well-being, and provides tools and techniques for bringing purpose and passion into our daily lives.
