Lynn's Invitation
H Having served on the senior executive team of a major multi-national company for many years while at the same time raising two sons, I remember well the pressures and demands of juggling a career and family. While I achieved success, I often neglected my own needs, which negatively affected my personal development, well-being and health. Whether you are struggling to find balance amidst a demanding career, or you are navigating a personal or professional transition in your life, we all need and deserve an opportunity to rejuvenate ourselves.
What I have learned through my own life is that it is very easy for women to lose their ‘spark’ or connection to their true feminine nature and sense of joy. We begin to feel drained or less-than-inspired, and we don’t know why. Or we find ourselves in a period of transition, and we yearn for clarity of direction. Worse yet, some of us are unexpectedly confronted with disease that threatens our life as we knew it.
I received one such wake-up call in 2013 when I was diagnosed with cancer. Confronting my own mortality prompted me to make major changes in my life, including stepping away from my demanding career. I embarked on a journey to restore my sense of balance and revitalize my connection to the intuition and wisdom residing in my own heart. It has been a humbling and inspiring experience, and I have emerged with a greater sense of purpose and balance, a more joyful heart and a passionate desire to share my learning with other women.
That is why I founded Anahata Leadership—to empower women to lead their best life. I began offering retreats to women in 2017, and have taken groups to Santa Fe, New Mexico, the Sacred Valley in Peru, Chatham, Cape Cod and Tuscany, Italy. I deeply believe that women not only need but deserve the opportunity to pause—to reflect on their life, revitalize their sense of well-being, and reveal the truths residing in their heart.
And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.
To help make that possible for you, I would like to invite you to join me on a retreat which incorporates the most helpful insights, practices, and tools that I have uncovered through my own journey.
